“Which hair straightener should I get”? is a question commonly asked at our hair salon. There are quite a few flat iron hair straighteners but there’s only a couple actually worth buying.

Unfortunately it’s not so easy to determine the good ones and the bad ones until you actually buy them. Since most decisions come down to price, you should first start off by knowing what to expect when you buy your perfect hair straightener.
The most important thing is that the iron is ceramic. Ceramic straighteners have great heating elements that help retain natural moisture in your hair when you straighten. Because of this, your hair will become less damaged, and it will help your hair look smooth and shiny without all the frizz and without the dry look. You have to be careful though; cheap ceramic straighteners will wear down, resulting in damage done to your hair and a look you won’t like. It’s better to buy one good ceramic straightener than to have to buy two or more cheap ones.
Second would be the design of the metal plates. A lot of flat iron hair straighteners tend to grip and pull on your hair while straightening. Aside from the fact that it causes discomfort, this isn’t good for your scalp or your hair. The gripping of the hair can do damage to the scalp and prevent heat from being distributed evenly, making you have to go over the same hair with the flat iron hair straightener, which shouldn’t be done more than three times.

Don’t forget the slower you go with a straightener, the straighter it will come out immediately. A great hair straightener (http://besthairstraightenerreview.blogspot.com ) will get your straight silky hair in about 10 minutes.
